In the beginning..

I don't really know when it started. Oh wait, yes I do. I started the life of a yo-yo from a young age. I wasn't really "fat" but I wasn't thin. I played sports, loved dance but loved good food. Back then there weren't movies to educate us on the dangers of fast food. This was a time to grab something on the go: your kid got a toy & you escaped making lunch. Win, win. My parents cooked a lot of our meals but my father also worked for Nabisco. Cookies were stocked like the supermarket shelves. Again, I don't blame them. They didn't have the resources or knowledge we have now, and I am SO GRATEFUL we know what we're putting in our mouthes now.

My "tipping" point was almost 300 pounds. And by almost, I mean 2 pounds. I will never forget that day at my doctors office. I was mortified. I had no idea I had let myself go so much. I was humiliated, embarrassed, disgusted and determined.

I've tried it all. Diet pills, not eating, fad diets and did I mention not eating?

I'll stop with the same ol stuff you hear from everyone at the turning point. You catch the drift. I have made some life changes and I will start from there and move forward.

1) I don't eat fast food. It's really disgusting. My only "fast food" is Animal Fries from In & Out and that's a treat I will have once every 4 months or so

2) I have a gluten allergy so I am gluten free not by choice but it was one of life's greatest blessings

3) I don't eat red meat, pork or eggs. Red meat & pork make me sick and eggs...it's a texture thing LOL!

4) I love to socially drink. That's something I do try to cut back but sometimes a girl just needs a drink!

5) I'm not perfect, no one is

6) I workout so nothing comes easy. If you want an easy answer: go get lipo and a tummy tuck.

7) My current routine is bootcamp, pilates, yoga and cardio.

Here is a picture of me at my heaviest and me as of last Monday (3/3/14)

Hope this story will help you all!
